How And Why I Built
Career Change Confidence

Making a website was not yet on my mind when I stepped out on my career change journey.

As my research and insights grew, I thought: how about creating a careers-focused website so that I can reach more people searching online for information? We don't all have the time or inclination to read books, but most of us are pretty adept at finding information online.

Making a website is the hardest thing I've ever done, harder even than getting my law degree. I have so much to learn, unlearn and relearn. But right now, I can't imagine doing anything else more satisfying. Every spare moment I have, I sit down at my computer and look for ways to make this site better.

I must give credit where it's due, though.

I did not get to where I am by being a guru in search engine optimization tools. Just reading technical stuff makes my eyes glaze over.
